Attempt to Keep Things Secret and Violation of Privacy

Hi, Ted,

quote:
Has anyone in the Forum inquired about where she's been? I guess not - not unless they're up for a good thrashing.

I think it was last December sometime that someone had the temerity to inquire, ever so gently, about the whereabouts of Peny. Jach immediately jumped in to say that she's fine and that she's busy working on projects.

To my knowledge, that was all that was said about her mysterious disappearance. So, the shields are in place, the drawbridge is up, the moat is filled with crocs, and a heavy mantle of secrecy has fallen upon Camelot.

Dear Katie

you wrote:

"We can all be quite sure that Peny has been unwell if not already dead for quite some time now. Clearly Jach's explanation of Peny's whereabouts in December or so was not factual either. What all this says to me is that the feelings of others are of no concern whatsoever to Jach"

My best guess is that Peny been either dead or suffering complications from a stroke or heart attack since she fell silent sometime late last year.

From what I observed the psychological dynamic of CS is pretty much a macrocosm of Peny's personal pyschology and as such is driven by paranoia, fear and hostility.

It is nearly impossible to believe that Jach wasn't flat out lying when he wrote that Peny was fine in December. Why lie? why not avail yourself of the healing energy of the forum community?

If it was Peny's desire to remain private about her illness all Jach had to write was that she was focusing on her personal process and felt the need to retreat from public life. simple.

I think the goal with CS is always to manage the "client" in such a way that they feel honored and priviledged to recieve any bit of information.

The fear of reprisal and withdrawl is so intense and ever present that it need not be spoken

I think when the reprisal or withdrawl doesn't happen the client is profoundly relieved and grateful they weren't abused or banished.

Unwilling to see the truth of this dynamic, gratitude for not being exiled is quickly reclassified as gratitude for Jach, CS and the "gift" of unloading money on them.

It goes something like this: I understand recently CS called seminar attendees to cancel this weekends workshop.

"This is Petunia from Concept Synergy, unavoidable circumstances compel us to cancel this weeks seminar"

the client thinks for a minute..Is something wrong she wonders..dare I ask? don't want to get my head bitten off..and Petunia seems very formal and business like..oh fuck it I am going to ask...so the client carefully asks:

"Is everything all right"

Petunia bristles slighty, giving the impression ever so subtly that an enormous breach has occured with this outrageous question.. Petunia summons just a tad more warning in her voice as she robotically states:

"It is unavoidable, Jach is fine"

"Jach is fine? who asked?? suddenly our client realizes that she has non refundable plane tickets. Oh shit, she thinks.. well I bet CS will be taking responsibility for their impact and give some kind of voucher if I can prove my tickets were non refundable or something..So our client musters every bit of courage and says:

"But I have non refundable plane tickets"

Petunia bristles and fills herself with the ambrosia of Concept Synergy: Outrage. Righteous and indignant, she has seen this kind of nonsense in the forum where people ask questions that make us all mad. Well, Petunia is not going to play this game..she presents her best office lady steely cold voice and says:

"It is unavoidable, Jach is fine [who asked?]

The client is so relieved that she wasn't banished or abused that the relief she feels, the biochemical reaction that happens when your afraid of being hurt and it doesn't happen, is labled "gratitude"

This occured in the no infamous forum blood bath that resulted when a woman dared to speak her displeasure about Jach cancelling SF and LA seminars.

As the ruthless gang attack gained momentum and furor, many rank and file forum members wrote in about their "gratitude" for Jach's "Gift" and the "gratitude" the felt to the gang for being so "honest".

What that really was about, imo, is relief that there was a target and "hey it wasn't me, so the relief is called gratitude and to shore up my sense of safety, I will join the carnage,"

One of the gang pointed out she couldn't imagine that anyone would go to the head of a company [ Jach ] and complain. LOL

I don't know what planet she is from, but people frequently go to the top to make consumer complaints. Intelligent CEO's always send letters to people that write to them complaining.

Man, I am rambling.. gotta run..

Hey Audrey,

quote:
Never having been one of the inner circle, nor an active member of the Forum, much has been revealed on this site about "behind the scenes" goings on in Orlando.

I wasn't a member of their inner circle. I was friendly with Jach and Peny but had very little contact with the rest of those new age manchurian-candidates [the Orlando gang]

Once in a while I would get an email from Peny, respond to it and all of the sudden I would get 6 or so responses from members of the gang. That was pretty much my only contact with them.

Peny and some of her associates were in the habit of ccing and bccing every email they got that contained juicy stuff in it to each other.

Peny and co. had some kind of email ring, they had a few actually. One had to do with politics but since I was such a negative ego total pinko commie liberal they never sent me any of those.

The "email rings" I participated in or saw were about 3 or 4 in number and usually had to do with the disection of a forum member[s]. Sorry guys but thats the ugly truth of it.

There were many, many more of thes email exchanges that I never saw or had any participation in and lol, was probably the subject of a few of them myself.

One bit I'm interested to understand better is that I was told: "Lazaris never intervenes" (how clean and easy), but this seems to have been tossed out the window when it comes to P. getting in depth analysis of persone-non-grata.!

Wish I could help you understand that Aud, but I can't. Peny told me she had several conversations with Lazaris about this person. These conversations spanned the time that they were happily communicating.

To be fair, I think that Peny might say that Lazaris is a friend of hers and she can discuss people the way you do with friends.
Problem is the ethics in revealing what Lazaris said privately about his "friends"

I have also thought quite a bit about all the quotes, as well as the scientific knowledge used by Jach and L. to come from these people who didn't seem at all well-read.

This oroginally gave rise to my strongly held belief that con:sin is a group of fulltime behind the scenes "prep persons"
they keep the machine going, gleaning tips techniques, teachings the world over,...
scouring resources, it seems pretty necessary to prop up the followers ideas of them as special, "so much more wise than I"....etc.

I don't think so Audry, I think they are too lazy to do that much work. I am not being sarcastic but I just think they are too lazy. The other thing is much of this research would have to have been done prior to the internet, requiring so much more effort.

It was the "clothing", music, "art",and crystals merchandise that got me looking sideways as well. Somehow their tacky tacky taste in "music", and that stuff they called "art" and the clothing (puleeze)! (let's remember to BEEE Spiritual, you need to LOOK spiritual:wear MY uniform.)

That music was a crime wasn't it.

Posted by Katie on 05-15-2001 10:53 AM     Edict from Con:Sin
Con:Sin issued their edict via one of the Gang Leaders on Friday.

I have pondered publishing the actual post, but decided that it's best not to.

All the privacy rules around the Forum serve to do more than protect against information getting out, they also serve to keep it from coming in.

Forum members were told that their posts were being read, thank you very much, and that Jach is doing fine, but busy taking care of all the details that need attending to in times like these.

He went on to tell them that in times like these people might be tempted to project feelings onto Jach, so let's not go there, Jach's privacy must be respected.

The post was placed in all active threads and in a new one. Let's make sure everyone reads this and receives their instructions as to how to think and feel themselves.

Fine for Jach's privacy and rights, but of course, no mention whatsoever of the feelings and thoughts of the faithful. Evidently, Jach is the only one whose feelings should be honored. Pretty hard to do when you're not even allowed to think about what they might be.

Mind control is sickening. Evidently it is quite effective though.

As I think about it, the post could have been written in the most subtle way to tell people to stay away from this site. With all the projecting we're doing here, someone might have a thought that isn't pre-approved by Con:Sin.

For any Forum members reading here, first, congratulations for having the sense to seek information, and I hope that someone very soon will challenge the censorship and control practices there.

There really is no bogeyman there, not a real one, only one that is allowed through the silent acceptance of the members.

Someone speak up, it's good for the soul!
Everyone has the right and obligation to think for themselves, especially about serious issues like suicide and deception.

Hi Katie,

You said: What is with these Lazaris sychophants, those who gleefully indulge their voyeristic tendencies by watching shows like Big Brother, yet somehow think it's appropriate and honorable for Jach to attempt to keep the details of Peny's illness and death a "privileged" secret?

In the Healing the Broken Alliances tape, Lazaris talks about the need to respect their privacy, but then goes into a whole bunch of details about their "process". Also, if Lazaris were so concerned about respecting privacy, why did he clearly fail to do this during many seminars when he revealed embarrassing details of certain people's process. We have heard from people that such revelations were neither appreciated or requested, but were indeed humiliating.

Cheers, Craig

Hi Katie & Craig,

Privacy!!! How about our private personal stuff that we revealed to Jachass in consultations. Not only was the untrustworthy J/L conducting these sessions, apparently Peny was listening in. Or during "magic time" -- who would have publically exposed their inner most concerns if not for the opportunity to get some insight from the falsely represented Bizzarus? Nauseating

Even those little consultation questionaire forms solicited private information.

The Treacherous Triad's sense of privacy was limited to themselves. Every one else's is open for plunder. Other people's personal boundaries were toys to these people.

I have zero qualms about Jach's privacy, he has no respect for anyone else's.

Hi Brad,

You wrote:

Would somebody please tell me why it was your business what was wrong with her, or anybody's business?

Lazaris, Jach and Peny made it our business when they declared that Peny was the reason that Lazaris came to speak. When they strongly implied that Peny was special, that she was a masterful magician. When Lazaris specifically said that Jach and Peny no longer had any significant problems to deal with. When Peny used this elevated status to thrash people and attempt to destroy their self-esteem.

The physical conditions of Peny's death are public by law, which is how we managed to know about them.

I don't think you have any idea what it's like to be a public figure.

Many of of know what it's like to be judged, have our every word scrutinized and have lies told about our personal lives in a semi-public arena, the J&L forum - by Peny, amongst others. Katie and I know what it's like to have nitwits come on this site and make judgements about our relationship and our state of conciousness.

These people are public figures because they chose to be public figures. They weren't thrust into the limelight by accident. They chose to be in the public eye and reap all the rewards that come with it. In so doing, they also relinquished a certain amount of their right to privacy.

If Lazaris (and C:S) didn't repeatedly and constantly speak of Peny as a "shining light", her death would not have been an issue. If Peny hadn't used her status to offer health advice to people, the state of her health would not be an issue. Didn't people have a right to know that Jim Fixx died of a heart attack (at age 42, I think) while advocating running as an especially healthy activity? No, it doesn't prove that running is not healthy, but it is an important piece of the puzzle.

Cheers, Ted
