How Effective are Teachings?

Hi Fingerprince

I, too know people who had readings weekly in the early days. It was there for the taking. One friend the other day pulled her first reading with Lazaris in 1989 and to her consternation, she was talking about the same issues as today.

As you probably know, in the last week Jach has decided he will do no more private readings. A letter went out last week. I don't know what reason was given. My guess is that in many ways Peny's death will give Jach a freedom to live his life in ways he might not have done before.

Hi All,

D'y'ever notice that there are a lot more posts in the Crystal Cave forum in the J&L room than there are in the Miracles and Successes forum?

It seems reasonable to expect that, upon entering the J&L room, one would find an abundance of happy, successful people, given that Lazaris promises "success beyond our wildest dreams". Of course, happy people aren't always happy and successful people have problems sometimes, but come on... People who have worked dilegently for 10 to 20 years still can't get a grip on their negative ego? And then they gotta deal with the Nemesis?

I may hold the record for the number of posts in the "Miracles" section, with at least 3 posts in there. And I'm totally in negative ego. I mean, I don't even believe the Grand Orb exists outside of Jach's imagination. And I think that Jach and Peny are/were two of the most conniving, manipulative, self-important, self-centered, arrogant, punishing schmucks that I ever had the misfortune of meeting. Yet, I continue to have many successes. Maybe negative-ego ain't so negative. Or maybe rejecting Jach and Peny's bullshit isn't a function of negative-ego.

Perhaps people ought to use the Gang's hero, Ronald Reagan's criteria for whether or not to continue on the same path: Are you better off now than you were when you started with the material? And if you are, it may be wise to go a bit deeper than the Gipper, and ask Why. Many of us were better off after 4 years of Reagan. Because or in spite of Reagan/Lazaris? - that's the question.

Is there more happiness, joy, creativity, hope, wisdom in the Forum than in the world at large? I hope not, because that would mean that the world at large is in really bad shape.

One would think that the guests at a hotel would take notice of the people attending a Lazaris seminar. The positive energy ought to be palpable, even to the "Consensus Reality". Yet I've never heard of anyone asking what was up with all these happy people at the seminar. I saw it happen at Rainbow Gatherings, where cops, CBS reporters and local yocals expressed their wonder at the joy that exuded from the Gathering's participants. Why doesn't a gathering of "mapmakers" have this same effect?

Cheers, Ted
