My story about the painting was completely genuine with no sarcasm, hidden meaning or kidding in there, so please understand how happy I was to hear that you would be in its vicinity! your message was received well, so don't worry! It's just that I don't post regulary in this forum so sometimes I need a little bit longer.

So my wife and me went to the Alte Pinakothek - but our policy is to visit only four or five paintings for an hour or so, then having a cup of coffee, and that's it.

Which means that the painting you were referring to has to wait til I'll discover it on one of my next visits over there.

Thanks for posting——I really was concerned that I had inadvertantly written something that had offened you. Lucky you——to be able to go to that great art museum for an hour at a time at your leisure!
